Taps @ St. Pat’s is celebration of the "home brewer" culture in central Illinois. It is a friendly way to sample unique beers among friends in a casual church setting. Attendees pay $20 each and receive (12) three-ounce samples, a sampling glass and plentiful finger food and appetizers. Non-tasters pay $10 for food and soft drinks.
Brewers pay $10 per entry and provide at least 3 gallons of beer. Each entry receives four sampling glasses, 12 samples, and free food. Brewers will also receive a “Thank you” gift from the Knights for each beer the brewer donates.There is a “brewers only” tasting 6:30-7:00. Representatives from local commercial breweries will be on hand to sample the home brews and select a beer for ramp up at their brewery.
Proceeds from Taps will benefit Faith In Action.
